Idan Chiang's Classic Timeless Bachelor Pad is a nod to high-end traditional American design. The design is heavily influenced by the client's affinity for Ralph Lauren's design concepts and aesthetics. The apartment is adorned with equestrian and yachting photography and collectables, reflecting the client's elegant lifestyle.

The bachelor pad stands out for its timeless style, quality, and good taste, mirroring Ralph Lauren's design philosophy. The interior is dominated by rich leather, wool plaids, mahogany, and dark burl wood from the Brook Street home collection, exuding a masculine aura. The apartment is a perfect blend of style and functionality, with brand-named furniture, marble, tile, and pieces from the Apartment No. 1 and Brook Street collections.

The apartment features two bedrooms, a living room, a transformable study, a dining room, an open kitchen, and an outdoor balcony. The living room and study boast a dark wood-grained herringbone tile floor, while the master suite is adorned with bold dark wood-paneled walls and light carpet. The design is a perfect blend of elegance, simplicity, and functionality.

The realization of the client's dream of a Ralph Lauren-inspired home required eight months of research and design. The selection of materials, color schemes, trim, and sourcing specific furnishings was a joint effort. The designer also faced challenges in locating and acquiring the necessary furnishings and timeless classic pieces representing the technicality and purity of yachting, exclusivity of gentlemen’s sports, and equestrian traditions.

The Classic Timeless Bachelor Pad was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. The award is a testament to the design's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. The apartment boldly states elegance, timelessness, and aristocracy, embodying the best of Ralph Lauren's design aesthetics.
